01 / Your furniture plan
Name the furniture line and its destination.
Give the proposed sofa a project identifier, such as SO-1, alongside its actual model and configuration. Name the destination lounge and attach the measured room arrangement. Keep the product reference and route record linked so another sofa configuration does not silently inherit the first review. The room plan and the receiving route answer different questions and both remain part of the decision.
02 / Your furniture plan
Separate item dimensions from packaged dimensions.
Record the overall chair or sofa measurements supplied for the exact configuration. In another field, record the packaged dimensions when available, with the source and date. Mark missing information as awaiting confirmation. Do not substitute the catalogue footprint for the packaged size or assume that components can be removed. Ask about the proposed item’s actual handling arrangements.

03 / Your furniture plan
Make a record for each route restriction.
Follow the real route from the receiving point to the room. Give each relevant opening, turn or change of level a short identifier and record its measured dimensions, photograph, date and who checked it. Keep the approach and turning space visible alongside an opening’s width. Send unresolved dimensions to the person who can verify the actual building rather than filling them with a general clearance assumption.
04 / Your furniture plan
Put the supplier handling questions beside the route.
Attach the proposed sofa and package information to the route record and ask about the handling scope for that specific combination. Record whether unpacking, movement between levels or any item-specific steps are included, excluded or still unanswered. Do not treat a preferred sofa or an apparently generous doorway as confirmation of the entire route. Keep lounge-chair lines separate if their route or handling questions differ.

05 / Your furniture plan
Choose proceed, compare another configuration or wait.
For each furniture line, record the room decision, the route information verified and the handling questions remaining. Proceed with the purchasing discussion when the required information is resolved; compare another configuration if the review calls for it, or leave the line open. A changed size or package reopens its route review. Save material choices separately so an approved sample does not close an unanswered access question.

06 / Your furniture plan
Send the route record with the exact piece list.
Begin with the Massachusetts location and a photograph of the shared room. As the request develops, add the furniture identifiers, destination rooms and the route records relevant to each item. In an illustrative review, entrance R1 is measured, route segment R2 still needs building information and SO-1 lacks packaged dimensions. SO-1 stays open even though its room arrangement is preferred. Ask for the proposed handling scope before treating that line as ready.
An illustrative room schedule
Illustrative furniture lines and their review status
| Room | Lounge chairs | Sofas |
|---|---|---|
| Lounge-chair line LC-1 — room group reviewed | 4 | 0 |
| Sofa line SO-1 — receiving questions remain open | 0 | 1 |
Four lounge-chair pieces and one sofa piece are under consideration. SO-1 remains a pending line until its missing package and route information is resolved; the piece count itself does not establish access or occupancy.
